 "The business case was very strong for the REC modules", said Sergio Gonzalez, CEO at Parque Metropolitano, "and they provided us with outstanding support during and after the construction."

The project is one of the largest tracker-based solar energy plants constructed with REC modules. It uses a dual-axis ground mounted tracker system. Each individual tracker contains 168 REC modules. The plant has a total capacity of 4,6 megawatts.
The solar park utilizes REC's entire line of solar modules: the REC A-Series and REC-AE series, with rated output ranging from 210 to 225 watts. Parque Metropolitano selected the REC panels because their high sustained power output and expected long-term durability helped create a compelling business case.
