Extraordinary General Meeting, April 29, 2010

The notice relates to the new financing solution as described in the press release published on March 31, where the board of REC proposes to strengthen the Company’s equity position by conducting a rights issue with gross proceeds of approximately NOK 4 billion and subscription rights to the Company’s shareholders.

The Extraordinary General Meeting is scheduled to be held at 10:00 CET on April 29, 2010 at Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, Holbergsgate 30, Oslo.
