Customer Value Enhancement
The solar market continued to grow in 2012, but overcapacity across the solar value chain led to steep price declines throughout the year.
REC reported strong operational performance in 2012 with cost reductions and improved market position both in Silicon and Solar. Revenues from continued operations were affected by reduced selling prices and decreased 25 percent from 2011 to NOK 7,145 million in 2012.
